when i load my film into my yashica super 8 camera, sometimes it advances and sometimes it doesn't. does any one know why this may be happening and if anything can be done? i can take it to gassers here in s.f. and they can check it out for $15, but has any one else experienced this?
also, i fucked up the lens with sand and baby oil (i'll tell you more if you want...) and then tried to loosen it up with a screwdriver - le duh! which made it worse. is it easy to switch lenses on super 8 cameras? i bought this for almost nothing but i'm really attached to it because it has nice exposure and a dissolve function. any help would be appreciated.
thanks

Re: my camera is sick...
Wed, October 26, 2005 - 9:04 PMNothing special about the Yashica super 8 cams. You should use the $15.00 to buy another super 8 of equal quality on ebay. I'm sure it will be cheaper than a repair. -
