I've done that poorman x-fer a few times. My friends mom gave me a little transfer box about 6 years ago that I can put the projector into one end and the video camera into the other. But my video camera really sucks and it won't lock the focus. So sometimes it continually goes in and out of focus so I have to shoot the same roll 3 or 4 times to make sure I get the parts I need in focus. Oh well!!!

I'd like to see some of your stuff if you get it up. I've found a few places on the web with a few reels. It's pretty cool. I wish tribe.net had a bookmark feature that we could add bookmarks for a tribe. Maybe I'll start a bookmark thread where we can trade some bookmarks.
