Anyone have any labs they have used for Super 8 to Tape transfers? Just shot some film in San Fran that I need to edit, decided I'm going to abandon the splice tape and viewer for Final Cut Pro.

Re: Super 8 X-Fers?
Wed, February 11, 2004 - 10:53 PMThere are several routes you can go. I recently compiled a list of labs for both processing and transfers. Scroll down for the Super 8 section:

Re: Super 8 X-Fers?
Thu, February 12, 2004 - 4:22 PMi got a transfer box from American Science + Surplus here in milwaukee for $25. I also know a lot fo people who just shoot MiniDV off the wall (they either adjust the frame rate in-camera or in FCP...or put up with the difference 18FPS to 29.9x FPS
If you send your film to Dwayne's, they'll tele-cine it for free. I find that to be pretty nice.
